I began my photographic career when in High School as a yearbook photographer. Bringing my skills to the University of South Florida I became the personal photographer for the vice president of student affairs, photographing all student activities as well as developing a slide presentation for incoming freshman orientation.

I took a hiatus for several years to begin a family.

In 1993 Photo Concepts was formed, specializing in group, event and youth sports, the company soon became one of the largest of its type in Central Florida. I was named one of the top ten photographers in Central Florida 5 years in a row. While building Photo Concepts I was enhancing his stock and travel photography. During this time I was fortunate enough to study under Galen Rowell, which helped define my vision.

When digital capture was in its early years in I jumped aboard learning the skills necessary to make the conversion to the new media.

Proficient in Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, and Illustrator, have allowed me to utilize technology to create images that are out of the ordinary.

Using my photography and computer skills I am able to combine photography and design skills to create  packaging and marketing pieces for small and medium sized companies that can’t afford and in-house design group.

Selling Photo Concepts and starting Northwest Photographix, was done so I could relocate my business to the Pacific Northwest. Having moved to Portland, Oregon in August of 2009, I have brought his unique skills to Oregon.
